About SLL Electrical Contractors
SLL Electrical Contractors is an electrician business based in Ormskirk, trading for 10 years across Ormskirk and Lancashire. The business specialises in electrical testing and compliance work, particularly Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) for homeowners, landlords and letting agents. It also carries out domestic and commercial electrical installation work including rewires, consumer unit upgrades, EV chargers, solar and battery storage, smart home installs, and small jobs.
Testing and compliance work is the core focus. Every circuit is tested using calibrated Megger multifunction test equipment. EICRs check the consumer unit, earthing, bonding, RCD protection, insulation resistance, earth fault loop impedance, sockets, switches and fixed wiring against BS 7671 wiring regulations. Findings are explained in plain English with coded observations (C1, C2, C3 or FI) and photos where relevant. The business also carries out PAT testing for businesses and rental properties, and testing for commercial premises.
SLL Electrical Contractors covers Ormskirk, Skelmersdale, Burscough, Rufford, Scarisbrick, Aughton, Southport, Maghull and Kirkby. Work begins with a visit to inspect and test. Reports are issued promptly with a free quote for any remedial work needed. The business holds 18th Edition (BS 7671) and City and Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing qualifications, carries public liability insurance, and offers free quotes.
