About SS ELECTRICAL services
SS Electrical Services is an electrical contractor based in Newtownabbey, incorporated as SS Electrical Services N.I. Ltd in 2025. Stephen has been carrying out electrical work in and around Newtownabbey for over five years. The business handles domestic, commercial and industrial jobs, from wiring a plug to full installations including new circuits, rewires, consumer units, repairs, maintenance, fault finding and electrical design.
Services cover new circuits and additions, consumer unit replacement, full rewires, lighting installation, and work in bathrooms, kitchens, gardens and outbuildings. Recent work includes machine control panel installation, control panel wiring and terminals, and consumer unit termination and labelling. The business states it would rather tell a customer a repair is a false economy than take the money for it twice, and will say if an installation is worn out rather than broken.
SS Electrical Services covers Newtownabbey and roughly thirty miles around it, with distance travelled depending on the type of work. The business holds a five-star rating across 36 Google reviews. Customers report that Stephen arrives as stated, explains what needs doing and why before starting, and leaves the place as found. Every installation starts by establishing what the existing system can carry, because that decides what can safely be added to it.
