About Switch It Up Electrical Services Ltd
Switch It Up Electrical Services Ltd is an electrician business based in Buckingham, covering Brackley, Milton Keynes, Bicester and surrounding villages. The business has traded for over 12 years and carries out rewires, fuse box upgrades, new installations, EV charger fitting, electrical safety reports, testing and inspection, and fault finding for homes and commercial properties including warehouses, offices and shops.
The business is NAPIT registered and TrustMark approved, working to the 18th Edition wiring regulations. Every job receives a written fixed price before work starts. Rewires are planned room by room with the customer, with floors and furniture protected and walls made good. A modern consumer unit with surge protection is included, and every circuit is tested and certified. The business notifies Building Control through its NAPIT registration, so work is signed off correctly. For a typical three-bedroom home, a full rewire costs between £4,000 and £8,000 and takes one to two weeks.
Other services include replacing old fuse boxes with modern consumer units, fitting electrics for kitchens, extensions and garden rooms, installing home EV chargers on protected circuits, and carrying out electrical installation condition reports for house purchases and landlord duties. Fault finding uses proper test equipment. The business is fully insured and works with dust sheets, leaving rooms clean at the end of each day. Cables are fitted neatly and walls are chased cleanly. Free quotes are offered across the area with one clear fixed price in writing.
