About T.R. Aitchison Electricians
T.R. Aitchison Electricians is a family-run electrical contracting business based in Rutherglen, Glasgow, with over 60 years of experience in the electrical industry. The business carries out reactive and planned electrical maintenance work and electrical testing for domestic and commercial clients. Services include socket replacement, cable repair, fault finding and work for housing associations and letting agents.
T.R. Aitchison Electricians covers Rutherglen and wider Glasgow. The team is fully qualified and a member of SELECT, the Scottish Electrical Contractors Association. Work begins with a quote visit, usually arranged in the evening. At the visit, an electrician discusses what is needed, and a detailed quote follows with breakdowns of labour, parts and other costs. Payment is requested only after the job is completed. The business provides labour cover on workmanship and manufacturers' warranties on parts.
The team includes Frank, Steven, Heather and Ewan. Heather arranges quote visits when enquiries are received. The business serves domestic customers, housing associations and letting agents, with transparent pricing and minimal disruption to homes. Detailed reporting and invoicing are provided, particularly for letting agents and factors managing properties.
