Thompson Electrical is a NICEIC Approved electrical contractor based in Locks Heath. It carries out domestic, commercial and industrial electrical work across Hook, Fleet, Basingstoke, Farnborough and the wider Hampshire area. Domestic services include full and partial rewires, consumer unit upgrades, EV charger installation, lighting and power circuits, and fault diagnosis and repair. Commercial work covers office and retail fit-outs, three-phase power supply, emergency and exit lighting, and fire alarm integration. Industrial services include distribution systems, motor control and drives, panel building and wiring, and cable management systems.
Thompson Electrical also provides testing and certification: EICR inspections, PAT testing, landlord safety certificates and insulation resistance testing. All work is carried out to BS7671 18th Edition and tested on completion. Clients receive electrical installation certificates and EICR reports as standard.
The business has traded for 15 years and completed over 1,200 projects. It holds £2 million public liability insurance and is Part P registered. All operatives hold current City and Guilds 2391 inspection and testing qualifications and have passed AM2 assessment. Full DBS checks are available on request for domestic work. Work begins with a site visit and detailed written quotation. Once scheduled, operatives arrive on time and provide full documentation on completion.
