About TKM Electrical
TKM Electrical is a family-run electrician business based in Margate, serving Ramsgate, Broadstairs, Deal, Sandwich and the wider Kent area. The team is NICEIC approved and carries out domestic and commercial electrical work, from consumer unit replacements and house rewires to EV charger installations, solar panel and battery storage systems, and electrical fault finding and repairs. EICRs are carried out for landlords, homeowners, buyers and businesses. The business also offers a 24-hour emergency electrician service for unsafe electrical problems at any time.
Jobs start with a visit to discuss the work and provide a free quote. An EICR involves inspecting and testing the fixed wiring, including the consumer unit, circuits, sockets, switches, light fittings and earthing, with a written report listing any items found and their codes. Consumer unit replacements are fitted, tested and certified. House rewires are planned with the customer from the start and certified when complete. For EV chargers, the supply is checked and paperwork is sorted. Solar panels and home batteries are installed and connected safely to existing electrics.
TKM Electrical works to the 18th Edition wiring regulations. All work is certified and notified. The business holds public liability insurance and is rated 5.0 on Google. Customers include homeowners, landlords, buyers and business owners across Thanet and East Kent.
