About Treadwell Electrical
Treadwell Electrical is an electrician business based in Herne Bay, run by Scott Walton. The firm carries out domestic and commercial electrical work across East Kent, from Thanet and Sittingbourne to Canterbury and Whitstable. Scott completed his City & Guilds qualification and a three-year apprenticeship, and took over the business when his long-time boss retired. Charlie, an apprentice, works alongside him.
For homes, the business installs full and partial house rewires, upgrades consumer units, designs and fits LED lighting in kitchens and bathrooms, installs outdoor and garden lighting, and carries out electrical repairs and fault finding. It provides Electrical Installation Condition Reports for homeowners and landlords, installs additional sockets and lighting points, fits smoke and heat alarms, and offers emergency call-outs 24/7.
For businesses, Treadwell Electrical handles full commercial installations, three-phase power upgrades, consumer unit replacements, LED office and warehouse lighting, emergency lighting, EICR testing, PAT testing, data and network cabling, EV charger installations, electrical maintenance contracts, fault finding and repairs, and load monitoring.
The business is Napit-approved, registration number 75552, and holds public liability insurance. It works with local building contractors, plumbers and kitchen fitters, and counts The Wildwood Trust among its regular clients.
