About Triangle Electrical LTD
Triangle Electrical Ltd is a family-owned electrician business established in 2020, based in Reading. The team has over 30 years of combined experience in the electrical industry and carries out domestic and commercial work. Services listed are consumer unit upgrades, domestic rewiring, smart homes, new builds and extensions, EICR inspections for rental properties, emergency lighting testing, fire alarms and alarm testing, HMO electrical work, garden and outdoor lighting, and electrical testing and inspections.
The business covers Reading, Tilehurst, Bracknell, Goring, Henley-On-Thames, Earley, Woodley, Wokingham, Pangbourne, Purley, Windsor, Newbury, Thatcham, Wallingford and Didcot. Domestic rewiring begins with an electrical installation condition report to assess existing wiring, followed by planning of socket, switch and lighting layout. Old wiring is removed with the electricity supply turned off, new cables are laid for lighting, power outlets and appliances, and the system is tested for safety and compliance. An Electrical Installation Certificate is issued upon completion. Consumer units house circuit breakers and RCDs to prevent electrical hazards. New builds and extensions are installed to meet compliance with regulations and safety standards. Private landlords must obtain an EICR at least every 5 years. Emergency lights are tested to ensure they function during power outages, and fire alarms are tested regularly to confirm they work in emergencies.
