About Weston Electrical
Weston Electrical is an electrician business in Swansea run by Aled Weston. It carries out domestic and commercial electrical work, including additional circuits, extensions, rewiring, emergency repairs, EV charger installations, and electrical installation condition reports for landlords. The business also provides testing and inspection services.
Installation work is split into first fix, covering internal wiring and cabling before plasterboards are fitted, and second fix, which includes light fittings, plug sockets, switches, consumer units, extractor fans and electric showers after plastering and painting are complete. Testing is carried out at the end to confirm the installation is safe for use. For EV chargers, the business begins with a complimentary survey to evaluate the electrical setup, then secures the charger to the wall, installs cable back to the consumer unit or distribution board, installs control equipment and terminates electrical connections. Functional and electrical testing follows.
Weston Electrical covers Swansea. Aled Weston has over 15 years of experience in the trade and is a fully NICEIC approved contractor. The business holds £2 million public liability insurance and £250K professional indemnity insurance. Work is self-certified upon completion. Prior to any work commencing, the business visits the client to see the job and provides a clear quote.
