About White Electrics
White Electrics is an electrical testing and compliance business based in Paisley, founded in 2021 by Greg White, a qualified electrician. The business specialises in electrical inspection, testing and certification for landlords, letting agents, homeowners and small businesses across Glasgow and the West of Scotland.
For landlords, White Electrics offers a complete compliance package coordinating electrical condition reports (EICRs), portable appliance testing (PAT), gas safety certificates, energy performance certificates, legionella risk assessments and smoke and fire alarm installation. Each service runs on its own cycle: gas safety annually, EICRs every five years, and PAT testing and risk reviews up to every five years. The business also arranges electrical remedial work to fix faults found during testing, consumer unit upgrades, extra sockets and switches, lighting installation, heater installation and EV charger installation from 7kW to 22kW and above for homes and commercial premises.
White Electrics covers Paisley, Glasgow, Greenock, Dumbarton, Ayrshire and South Lanarkshire. Greg White carries out inspections personally, explains findings in plain English and provides separate quotes for remedial work. Clients deal directly with Greg rather than through a call centre, and the business coordinates access with tenants where approved by the landlord. Commercial work is planned around business opening hours where possible. The business holds public liability insurance.
