About Wiltshire Electrics
Wiltshire Electrics is a family-managed electrical company based in Devizes, with satellite offices in Bath and Swindon. The business covers an area from London to Bristol east to west, and from Cirencester to the South coast north to south. It carries out new electrical installations, total rewires of old installations, additions to existing installations, total maintenance packages, emergency lighting design and installation, fire alarm systems, advice on energy savings, voltage optimisation, access control and intruder detection lighting systems. Industrial and commercial installations are also undertaken, including shop fitting and refurbishments.
The business works for homeowners, landlords and commercial premises. Electrical testing services cover sockets, fittings and wiring in homes, offices and rented properties. For landlords, the business provides testing to ensure properties meet safety requirements for tenants. A sister company, Wiltshire Plumbing and Heating, allows the business to offer combined electrical, heating and plumbing services.
Work begins with a visit to discuss the job and plan the layout. A floor plan is made for larger projects such as total rewires, and sockets and lights are positioned according to the customer's requirements. The team carries out the installation and leaves the property clean. Recent work includes consumer unit upgrades, LED spotlight replacements, garden lighting with power to sheds and greenhouses, and bathroom renovations.
