Wisbech Electrical Ltd is an industrial and commercial electrical contracting firm based in Wisbech. It has delivered complex electrical installations across manufacturing, food production, warehousing and industrial facilities nationwide since 1996. The business employs over 40 professionals including Contracts Directors, Project Managers, qualified electricians, apprentices and support staff.
The services listed are full-scale electrical installations to BS 7671 standards, high-voltage design and installation up to 33kV including transformers and switchgear, data and fibre optic cabling systems, industrial control panel design and build, electrical maintenance, electrical design, electrical installation condition reports, portable appliance testing, emergency light testing, fire alarm installation and testing, thermographic surveys, fire trace installation, energy monitoring systems, and earthing and lightning protection. Work spans HV networks, LV networks, power for process plant and socket outlets, lighting for all applications, emergency lighting, external lighting, fire alarms, access control, intruder alarms and data networks. All work is supported by in-house teams providing manuals, drawings and certification.
Wisbech Electrical is NICEIC-approved and holds ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications. It is a SafeContractor member. The business has worked with clients including Nestlé Purina and Lamb Weston. Ten apprentices are currently completing Level 3 Electrical Installation apprenticeships on live projects. Over two thirds of the current workforce, including all three Directors, began as apprentices with the business.
