About AWG Electrical Services
AWG Electrical Services is a family-run electrician business based in Newbury. It carries out electrical installations, rewiring, repairs, maintenance, fault finding and testing for domestic, commercial and industrial properties. The services listed include Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) for landlords, Portable Appliance Testing (PAT), data-processing cable installations, alarm-system installation and maintenance, kitchen installations prior to fitting, garage conversions, smoke detectors, aerial installation and EV charging installation.
The business covers Newbury, Berkshire, Hampshire, Wiltshire, Oxfordshire and neighbouring counties. Work begins with an initial assessment to inspect the existing electrical system and determine what is required. A detailed plan and timeline follow, then rewiring and installation take place, with rigorous testing afterwards to ensure the new system is fully operational and safe. All work is handled by the in-house team.
AWG Electrical Services is NICEIC Approved and Part P registered. The team has over 34 years of combined industry experience and each member has completed a 4-year apprenticeship with Southern Electric Contracting and City & Guilds qualifications. The business adheres to BS7671 Wiring Regulations and current BS standards at the time of installation. It holds an independent complaints procedure for client reassurance.
