About DH4 Electrical
DH4 Electrical is a one-man electrical business in Newcastle upon Tyne run by Christopher Smith. It carries out domestic and commercial electrical work, including new lighting, upgrading fixtures and fittings, outdoor sockets, full rewires and fault finding. The business also provides electrical installation condition reports (EICRs) for people buying or selling a property, and periodic inspections for landlords and business premises.
Services listed are cooker and electric hob installation, smoke alarms, fire alarms, security systems, additional sockets, data points, and repair and servicing of equipment. The business covers Sunderland, Newcastle, Hartlepool, Durham and areas in between. A site visit is arranged at a convenient time to discuss the work, and a quote follows. The business can work around commercial opening hours, working nights and weekends to limit impact on the business.
DH4 Electrical is registered with NICEIC as an approved domestic installer and can undertake all notifiable work in homes, providing certificates and local authority notification. Christopher has worked in the electrical trade after moving from a career in education. The business provides free quotes. Work is carried out to current regulations and in accordance with Part P of the Building Regulations.
