About Protego Electrical
Protego Electrical is an electrician business in Hitchin run by Justin, a fully qualified Level 3 NICEIC-registered electrician. The business was founded in 2018 and carries out domestic, commercial and industrial electrical work. Services listed are EV car charger fitting, full and partial rewires, electrical installation condition reports, and lighting design and installation.
EV charger fitting includes supply and installation of smart chargers, tethered chargers, untethered chargers, solar-compatible chargers and fast chargers. The business is government-approved as an OZEV-authorised installer. Full rewires replace all electrical wiring, sockets, switches, light fittings and the consumer unit throughout a property. Partial rewires upgrade specific rooms or circuits such as kitchens, bathrooms or extensions. Electrical installation condition reports assess the condition of wiring, sockets, lighting and consumer units to identify faults and hazards. Lighting design and installation covers layout planning, choosing fixtures and fittings, LED options and smart lighting with dimmers, motion sensors and control panels.
Protego Electrical covers residential, commercial and industrial clients across Hertfordshire. The business holds public liability insurance and all work is tested and certified to meet UK safety standards. EV charger installations are eligible for government grants. Free site surveys and consultations are offered for EV charger fitting, and free quotes are available for rewiring work.
